perfect... bit like me... dot point... ha ha ha! Filet crochet is really quite simple, all about spaces and blocks, just fill in the blocks... and you have a design.... even simpler follow the few basic instructions and then follow the chart. Quite an enjoyable little project... now...

The best yarn ever! It is and has been my favourite all time yarn! Why? because it is just so soft, and I use it for baby hats, mittens and bootees, and have even made baby welcoming blankets with it. So soft to touch and very comfortable to wear for baby. You can crochet and knit with it...

however if you happen to be a "flower-power" kind of girl then these are "simply perfect" for you... Crochet Mittens "Honeycombe" with Flower Materials used My all time favourite yarn of course... Rowan Belle Organic DK... 50% Organic Wool and 50% Organic Cotton... the colours are...

Another very nice yarn for crochet sun hats is King Cole "Bamboo Cotton" AND there is also the time tested Patons 100% Cotton DK - perfect for the toddler, child and adult sun hats. Enjoy the sun.... and stay safe! Ciao!

and then end of May the arrival of my daughter from Australia... woo hoo... I am getting so excited... to the point of distraction... it's a real effort to focus on new crochet designs right now... so many other things to get ready and to do... New Crochet Hat Pattern Coming...

a turn-up brim and Perfect Heart Brooch and featuring... the alternating colours and varying stripe widths. Yarn used for this crochet hat was Rowan "Belle Organic DK"and a 4.5mm hook. The hat will fit 44.5cm (17.5in) to 48cm (19in) head circumference. Pattern is written in US crochet terms....

Crochet Coaster Pattern "SEASIDE" So, on with the new stuff, I am releasing this "simply beautiful" coaster pattern for FREE... and next week will include the accompanying pattern for the centre piece/doily... but first I want to make another centre piece with the olive green as the focus......

Acknowledgement Yes, I admit I am not perfect... I do make mistakes... and the latest was a surprise! Having come back recently from my whirlwind trip of UK, I am now slowly plunging back into my crochet and re-visiting my patterns and updating the layout and just perusing what needs...
