My favourite part of the film is the last fight scene where Cataleya is in proper fight mode, no guns...because using a gun is just too easy compared to traditional hand-to-hand combat! It was brilliantly choreographed. When the film ended, it made me aware that I actually haven't watched a...

I won't go on anymore but Thor's presence on Earth is definitely the most entertaining part of the film, and the presence of S.H.I.E.L.D (also from Iron Man) makes it even more so! I wasn't sure about the chemistry between Thor and Natalie Portman's character Jane Foster, but it didn't really...

After watching a very disappointing Project Runway I decided its time to review Spring 2011 Fashion Week in NYC, Milan and Paris. I don't know about you, but I was really rooting for Mondo. So I'll start out with my two favorite looks from each collection and then move on to some other amazing...

it was on my mental list of films to watch, but not necessarily at the cinema. Anyway, it was a really excellent film! I'd forgotten how good of an actor Antonio Banderas really was...this film truly showcases how brilliant he is in a thriller....and before I go on, I must stress that the...

New York Times Film Review: L'Amour Fou Film Journal Handsomely crafted documentary about a beautiful but rocky power relationship is also one of the best fashion films ever made. In L'Amour Fou, Pierre Thoretton tells the story of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his longtime...

I had loved the previous one in 2001, which was directed by Tim Burton and had a stronger 'Sci-Fi' element to it compared to the 2011 one, but I still liked it and it was much more 'real'! James Franco was great but I think I still need to watch Freida Pinto in more films for me to decide...

Many more things happen in between this time, such as getting his girlfriend to take one to save her life and accessing a memory of watching a Bruce Lee film which enables him to fight his way out of a situation (I thought this was hilarious!) and so, the film has definitely been executed...

, you can predict the rest of the film...but I was definitely too old to really enjoy it. I would have preferred a much darker storyline and Mary-Kate's portrayal of a witch was laughable. I can't tell if it was her acting or the costumes, maybe both. I just couldn't take the film seriously...

I've already mentioned Freida Pinto in my 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' film review and I still felt the same thing watching her in 'Immortals' - nothing. She was an 'Oracle' and I thought it would be a good role for her to show her acting skills but I wasn't impressed...in fact, I kept...
