MAC Hyperviolet Paint Pot
MAC Hyperviolet Paint Pot
MAC Hyperviolet Paint...
Today I will share with you my small MAC paint pots collection. If you aren't familiar with paint pots, MAC describes them on their website as "A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without...
Paint pots in this collection are limited edition ($22 CAD each), the other two Let's Skate and For Effect were pretty too, but they looked too glittery and I thought I would get more wear out of this one.
After bringing it home, I thought I had a similar shade and after
My Conclusion: MAC's paint pots are wonderful, but I highly suggest sticking to ONLY matte textured paint pots (such as "Soft Ochre," "Painterly," or "Groundwork.") They work great under everything and you are guaranteed to be left with a smooth finish!

Treasure Hunt, Genuine Treasure, Idyllic, Imaginary
Treasure Hunt is a shimmer paint pot of light pearled yellow. I like it because it's versatile, and the yellow shimmer would make the eyes look more awake. This is like a yellower version of Rubenesque. I can't wait to use it.
Genuine Treasure: Truly a treasure as this is probably one of the only Paint Pots I know of with this much shimmer. I love it! It's a brassy taupe-y gold that needs a little extra help to get into place correctly but well worth the extra effort as it casts a beautifully shimmer glow on...
If you're going to haul these do go into the purchase because you love the formula however, don't expect anything more from that formula that you may already have used with the original line of MAC Paint Pots as I honestly don't see much difference in the wear, just a new name...
