Givenchy shoes tips

The Givenchy shoe collections

Like many luxury labels, Givenchy makes shoes that perfectly fit its ready-to-wear collections. The style is quite similar to what the label usually designs, with elegant items, high quality and details with unique looks. Givenchy really likes high stiletto heels which apparent fragility brings forward hyper-femininity, but the label also makes things more practical for the everyday life and walking, with larger heels or flatter shoes. Pumps, ankle boots, high boots, sandals, styles are quite wide to fit all needs and styles.

The Givenchy lace shoes

Givenchy usually uses nice quality leather to make shoes. In 2009, the label tried to mix leather to black or white lace for a pair of sandals with a very romantic look. These sandals are now of course sold out in the Givenchy shops, but you might still be able to buy some in some luxury outlet stores. Lace is a material that perfectly suits the label’s style so it would also not be very surprising to see one day this look come back in one the of shoe collections.

Givenchy shoes for men

The French label also makes shoe collections for men with a wide range of items that will suit many moments and activities of a busy life. Givenchy of course has very elegant shoes, whether it be loafers or boots, made of leather and that will be perfect for a work outfit. But Givenchy is one of these labels that always manage to bring chic to casual things with no effort and is really good at designing sneakers for men with a cool modern and a bit futuristic look. Colors are simple with many blacks, greys and whites and so will be easy to wear with many outfits. For men or for women, Givenchy shows a talent for striking shoes.

multi strap wedges by Givenchy ? When I first saw the footwear collection for the S/S 2010 collection I was unsure if fast fashion chains would answer the call by replicating these extreme almost fetish-style shoes. But surprisingly a lot of them did and we've had several of the Givenchy...

the whole ensemble with my Givenchy cowboy boots that I snagged off of Yoox last year. I love leaving these slightly unzipped to elongate the legs. They have beautiful patent detailing. It is hard to believe these shoes got marked down to $150 in the end. Maybe they were too wild for the...

And I love love love my newish Givenchy shoes, totally worth stalking strangers at the Pedder sale and standing creepily next to them before sidling up and asking... "Do you want those?" And then politely standing around for another five minutes while they decided the answer to that question....

. To keep in line with the tribal print belt and daytime feel I wore my Givenchy woven leather wedge sandals. These sandals are so comfortable for walking around and running errands. I like that they have the detailed woven leather straps and they are a designer shoe, but they have that...

She apparently also wore Givenchy shoes, but we can't see them underneath her long gown. Just like the Louis Vuitton frock she wore the night before, this dress is a twist on a simple formula. In this case, a crisscross front and sheer belt and trimming make this basic column dress way more...
