The designer : Trish Carroll
A native from Wyoming, Trish Carroll grew up quite far away from the shiny world of fashion and catwalks. Her love for traveling, her interest in the nomadic life, exploration and discovery of different cultures from all around the Earth were the main things that influenced her designs. Colors, glitter, glamor, became part of her and her life as soon as she first saw the islands and ski resorts where the Jet Set goes. She took what she saw and changed it into something less expected to make great trendy footwear. When she started designing shoes, Trish Carrol first worked for several brands, more or less luxurious, such as Oscar de la Renta, Narciso Rodrigez, Missoni, Nine West … and finally found the strength to launch her own label in 2002, and called it Miss Trish of Capri.
Miss Trish shoe style and inspiration
When Trish Carroll started her label, she had one idea on her mind: take the Capri sandal, a symbol of sixties fashion, and put it back in trend by changing it a bit to make it more modern. Her first collection was a great success and quickly became bigger, with more and more items. Whatever the design, Miss Trish always stays true to one thing: keep a nomadic style with the Jet Set glamor, making her the Queen of sandals and colorful flip flops. Her products are eccentric, with pieces of jewelry, starfishes or flowers, bright colors and exotic prints.
How to wear Miss Trish shoes?
As most of her collections are made of sandals, the Miss Trish shoes are mainly for summer or sunny holiday destinations. With their colors and loud designs, they are perfect for brightening a simple look, but will also be perfect with a sexy maxi dress.
