Repetto ballerina flats : the BBs


Repetto offers in each collection several types of shoes, but always linked to the world of dancing. Its best sell is with no doubt the Cendrillons flats. Made for Brigitte Bardot, who wore them in the movie And God Created Woman, they were renamed with the famous initials BB as a tribute. The shoe is quite simple, with a rounded toe and a small bow. They can be found in any colors, made of fabric or leather, patent or not. They can be worn with jeans as much as with a skirt, and have this very Parisian look.

Another Repetto must-have : the Zizi


After Brigitte Bardot, Serge Gainsbourg also became an icon for Repetto in the seventies, when he started wearing the Zizi. These shoes were originally made for Rose Repetto’s daughter in law. White, with laces, they kind of look like brogues and are more masculine than the BBs, and they can indeed be worn either by men or women.
