Saint Laurent Paris shoes tips

Yves Saint Laurent shoe style

Flats, pumps, sneakers, boots, sandals, heels or no heels, the shoe collections by Yves Saint Laurent are quite wide and have the great advantage of being able to fit many styles at any moment of one’s life and day. They have the general elegance of the label, and this very particular French fashion touch, always looking for chic in simplicity. Heels are often very high, and sometimes with platform soles. The platform is indeed one of Yves Saint Laurent’s trademarks: thick to raise the height of the shoe, but mainly recognizable thanks to its beveled shape on the front. This detail is very modern but a classic at the same time as the label started using it about fifty years ago.

Yves Saint Laurent Tribute shoes

The concept of it-bag is something often talked about in the fashion industry, but the same expression could also be used to talk about it-shoes. The Tribute sandals by Yves Saint Laurent are with no doubt some of these it-shoes. They have been worn by many celebrities, and are made in many different colors. The Tributes are a pair of sandals with a beveled platform sole, very Yves Saint Laurent so, and high stiletto heels.

Yves Saint Laurent Cage shoes

The cage shoes were made for the Spring Summer 2010 collection, and their style is so particular that everybody still remembers them. In between the boot and the sandal, these shoes are ankle high but entirely look like a cage made of metal, including heels, and are tied up with a ribbon. The sandals cannot be found in the more recent collections though, but they can still be bought from some outlet shops and private sales. They are for sure a statement item that will change any look. http://fffflash.com/women_shoes_yves-saint-laurent
